‘Where there is no vision, the people perish...’
Proverbs 29:18 KJV
Many people can go through life without a clear direction. They wake up, go through their daily routines, and sleep – without knowing why they are here. But God created each of us with a divine purpose. God wants each person to live with purpose, to embrace a Godly vision that in turn will give us direction, fuel our passion for living, and keep us focused on His kingdom.
Godly vision isn’t just about our personal objectives, it is a divine revelation. A vision from God, comes with His strength and His resources that will enable us to fulfill it. Abraham is a great example (Genesis 12:1-4). God gave him a vision to become a great nation, but he had to step out in faith. Walking in vision means trusting God, even when we don’t see the full picture.
Embracing God’s vision brings transformation. It changes how we live, think, and serve. Nehemiah had a vision to rebuild Jerusalem, and despite the opposition, he stayed focused and was de-
termined to see through the vision God had given him. Like Nehemiah, when we align with God’s
vison, we will witness firsthand God’s provision, and He will use us to be His influencers and bring
about His changes.
A life without vision leads to wandering and frustration. But when we seek God’s vision, we walk in purpose, power and divine favour. Don’t wander through life without direction. Seek God, trust His plan, and walk in the purposes He has for you.
“Lord, open our eyes to see Your vision for our lives. Give us the faith to follow it and the strength to persevere. May everything, we do bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.”
